The congress welcome in Florence
One of the tasks of Firenze Convention Bureau is to make of the congress welcome an art and to do it, it has gathered all its members in a book classifying them by categories and services offered thus presenting a complete table of all the kinds of professional competencies present in the association with a detailed description of all the characteristics of each company. There are almost 100 structures within the Firenze Convention Bureau among which hotels, congress organisers, travel agencies, congress and support services. A thorough selection to turn Florence into a real “congress city”.

Firenze Expo & Congress SpA

What Florence offers in terms of congress and exhibition
Firenze Expo & Congress is the new corporation managing the three main congress and exhibition structures:

- the Fortezza dal Basso, a fortress that can be traced back to the Medici’s era built in 1536 by Giuliano di Sangallo
- the Palazzo Congressi (Congress Palace) which is a villa built by the Strozzi family, perfectly restructured still preserving the ancient furniture of the time
- the Palazzo Affari (Business Palace), a modern building constructed in 1974 by the architect Spadolini.

The three structures can be described as very original congress and exhibition areas with a high quality image.
